Brooding Widow
After the gales with strong winds and heavy rain of the past 24 hours or so the good news is some fledgling blue tits are still around.
It was still very windy and raining this morning so thought I would do a couple of water drops photos on the just open gerberas.
The rain cleared, the sun came out. I came across several broody spiders as I was sorting out some plastic seed pots. One had 2 eggs sac but I couldn’t get a good view through the protective web. This one was easier and it was only after I had taken the first photo I noticed the second spider which I think must be a male - see extra. I think they are False Black Widow Spiders, Steatoda Grossa or possibly Nobilis
