How to Eat a Meal Worm - Fledged - Day 4
The young blue tits were in the garden first thing and are now flying quite well though sometimes off course with the strong wind and rain, one took shelter under the honeysuckle.
The parents were searching for any food around so I put out some meal worms.
This one was on the back wall. I think the parent was getting the juvenile to take the meal worm the right way rather than tempting it to follow. After a good breakfast and with the rain clearing they set off. Hopefully they will get to the marshes where there should be more natural food.
