Crete (4) - Knossos

We visited Knossos today and had a rather quick guided tour with not the best guide I have experienced. We had though been before and little has changed apart from a few walkways created and considerably more bus parties. This picture postcard type blip is the kind of iconic Knossos picture. Ironically of course it is not a genuine relic but a reconstruction . Many of the real finds from the site are in the Heraklion Museum which we managed to have a look at before returning home.
