Mezzegra

Yesterday we were promised rain, but it never materialised, though when it got dark we could see some lightening in the distance. Today instead the sky is more or less clear, and the temperature is comfortably warm, without being excessively hot, around 24 degrees.

We took a walk to Tremezzo for lunch, returning by ferry in the afternoon. One of the bars there does a very nice salad so there is something to look forward to after what is at times quite an invigorating walk up the hill behind Lenno and Mezzegra. The photograph is another alley in Mezzegra, Not the same one as last week I promise.

There are noticeably more tourists around now, and far more than when we arrived a few weeks ago. Despite the public holiday there was no noticeable invasion of people from Milan taking the day off. The bars in Lenno were pretty busy though when we passed by in the afternoon.
