Alium head
..not the name of a rock group, but one of those flower type things that grow in gardens and parks.
Today's journey took us to Norfolk - just on the borders of the Cambridgeshire Fens - to see Flick's 80 year-old father and his new girlfriend.
She lives in a lovely converted barn, which she designed herself, surrounded by a well-tended garden containing the aforementioned flowery things. The clematis is already in bloom and there are little red thingies everywhere as well as a couple of trees. I don't know what sort of trees they are, but the walnuts taste really nice.
Plants aren't my thing really.
As with most visits to the Pa-in-law, I got roped into a couple of errands. This time, I assembled a sack-barrow and then used it to move a dish-washer from his house to hers. I got off lightly this time - last time, I had to move all the upstairs furniture downstairs, and all the downstairs furniture upstairs.
Old folks! - don't you just love 'em.
