Big Skies

This view from the John Lewis restaurant over the river Forth to the hills of Fife, may not be the best one in Edinburgh, but it gets a better rating from me than do their scones which I found distinctly underwhelming.

We were in town early to accomplish some of the jobs accumulating on our to-do list.
The first of those was a visit to the Apple Store to try and figure out why the sound volume on my new IPhone 6 was poorer than that of my IPhone 5.
I have an appointment with Genius on Saturday. I hope they don't suggest I need a hearing aid given the length of my teeth!

Later this afternoon I have a get-together with my friend of many talents whom I haven't seen for a month. There will be many tales to tell, and many sets of ears burning before we've finished, I'll bet!
