HANDBAGGED

A day for baking, ironing and sorting out old family photos.

I came across this photo of my Dad being handbagged by the Beverley Sisters (who remembers them?) at some charity do or other. Dad's got a slightly sheepish, slightly naughty, slightly embarrassed expression that I remember from various occasions.

I didn't realise they went back quite so far until I found this clip from 1947 (when the art of dubbing was still not quite perfected, it seems).
