Doors day 2
Went out to Midlothian to take a photo of the door that inspired my theme this week, but on my journey I found this brilliant door at the Retreat. I loved how the light was catching in the stained glass windows, I don't think I would be able to get quite the same effect again. My photography professor was right when he said to take your camera everywhere because it will never be the same again as the lighting and circumstances will change.
I have posted my second choice for today, which is the door I had gone out to a small village in Midlothian to take. I was first attracted to it because of the lion head and then I noticed that it said Pinkerton Cottage. There is no family connection to my husband's family that we know of, just a coincidence.
