Doors day1

This weeks theme is doors.  Doors are so common, we see them and use them everyday, but they are also so varied.  Different materials, sizes, colours, designs, and even shapes.  They also have different features on them, door handles, knockers, windows, ect.  I went to the Canongate this evening and there were many doors with studs on them, but no two doors were a like, not even on the same building.  I liked this one with the small window that revealed items in the courtyard beyond the door.  

On the way home we drove over the High Road in Holyrood Park.  The lighting over the city was amazing I couldn't help but take a few photos.  I have included a photo of the Pentland Hills as an extra photo today.
