Hibernating @ Sea
Most visitors at the beach are dressed up to survive the winter season. On our chilly seaside walk to the North we discovered two young diehards laying in the sand. Dressed of course, but with short pants. Its Saturday afternoon, End of May!. I wonder if the season was that bad last year. I will add a link later on, so we can see ourselves.
Memories haunted our minds yesterday and still today. Willemien and Mischa made a very special bike tour, which joined old and new experiences, places, houses, family and friends. They even were invited to see the old village house -where we lived for almost 30 years - from the inside. Mischa spend her childhood and schoolyears there before she left to study in Amsterdam. I did not like to return there, as our old home & garden did no longer exist after we left in 2008. That dirty old farmers house has been completely renovated. I missed its soul.
For Mischa and Willemien however is was only one station on a tour which brought them to Willemiens Sister, still living in the vicinity and from there on a handy ferry to an unknown farm where Micha is having a trainingsweekend with her new friends and collegues. Spiralling and conjuncting the new and the old.
This really works like a miracle. You could not have made this up. But it is clear that we are going this Path of Deep Integration which surpasses Imagination. Turbulence and Memories, Gratefulness.
Meanwhile Willemien and I continued our seaside walk. I had my swim in the rough surf and we were both happy to return to our seaside sojourn. Far from the meadows where Mischa has her training weekend. And a Days Journey from our Carlsheaven, where the Gardian Oaktree stands waiting for our return.
