Whitethroat

B and I had a splendid day at Butterfly World in St Albans, we spent some time in the hothouse with the butterflies and then explored the gardens and the wonderful wildflower meadows.  Following lunch and ice cream we sat on a bench by the large pond and were visited by a juvenile yellowhammer (see extra photo) and then were serenaded by this gorgeous Whitethroat.

The other extra picture is one of the flowers inside the hothouse.

I suppose I should really be blipping one of the butterflies but just couldn't resist the birds!
