Oskar's Play

A musical adaptation by his talented 4th-5th grade teacher of The Princess and the Goblin, a children's fantasy written in 1872 by George MacDonald. There's a movie version too.   To be honest I didn't have much of a clue what was happening  (should have read the book first!) but I do love to watch these kids- they are so earnest and look like they were having a lot of fun and there were many creative costumes.  Oskar does like to perform...

Among other errands of the day, I took my 70-200 lens to the shop to see if I was crazy to think it's gone too "soft".  Well, they agreed so it's off to get repaired.  Out of the warranty of course.  sigh.
