The Canada goose family and duck family remained on this strip of land without any squabbles for at least a half hour. The duck and ducklings are sitting on the best part of this patch, as there's a lot of grass there. Typically a Canada goose will let it be known to a duck that the best spot is for them and other times I have seen ducks simply move away when they see Canada geese approaching. 

It was sweet seeing both families coexisting for a while. It was short-lived, though, as one of the adult Canada geese simply started walking towards the prime real estate spot and the duck got up and walked away with her ducklings.

I may need to take a break from blip, as I am spending too much time taking photos and unfortunately neglecting other very important aspects of my life.
