"Don't mess with my family!"

The family of five goslings is sadly now down to four little ones : ( Three of them are grazing in the foreground with one right behind mom.

I wasn't able to find this family yesterday and it took a while to find them this morning, so I was actually quite happy to even see that these four goslings are still alive. There is a hawk with some young nearby, so my guess is "Hawk's Delight de Gosling" was enjoyed as a family meal. Oh, it makes me a bit sick just typing about this gosling's demise. : (
