Kindness from Unexpected Places

I've been having a bad day. Working late and nothing going right all day with a deadline looming tomorrow (it's still not quite finished).

This may look like just a cooked stuffed mushroom.

To me this is a beautiful gift from a lovely, kind service user, who despite the challenges she faces daily, went out of her way to feed me just because I was working late and she didn't think I'd eaten because I was busy.

I felt humbled and my priorities re-organised. Tomorrow is a new day and I'm ready for what it throws at me!
