A long time coming

An uplifting day, added to by pleasing news from the Irish referendum on gay marriage. Unfortunately I was too uplifted to take any good photos.

Adam and Kit got married after 11 years together. The day was brimming with love, celebration and acceptance. Most of us shed tears in the ceremony and it was fantastic to see so many guests of different ages and backgrounds showing so much support. To Kit's father: I'm not sure it's overly pc in your speech opener to ask who is the bride and who is the groom...

A most excellent Shed Seven and Ocean Colour Scene segment on the dancefloor. All southerners present didn't have a clue what was going on.
