Slash n burn*

Spent time this morning gardening the way I learnt from my mom - chop off as much as you can, she would then let it dry out before giving into her pyromaniacal tendencies and torching the pile. Here, I've had to load it all into a gardening sack to haul to the recyclinghof, ideally before it goes mouldy. I did consider putting it all into my neighbour's newly emptied (like while I was slashing) bio bin but thought that although I could get away with hacking at my side of her laurels, actually putting the cuttings into her bin might be classed as taking the piss....


* but without the burn, ecologically unsound here I reckon.
