Go away!

We could hardly believe our eyes!  We spotted the heron and then noticed he was ducking his head as a lapwing flew over.  Then there were two lapwings dive bombing the heron until he took flight when there were several more lapwings joining he attackers to chase the heron almost to the other side of the lake.  We suspect the heron had taken a stand too near a nest or young birds!  If he's wise, he wont go back there!
