Viaduct Basin

I had to go out for a short while this evening so I thought I would take the camera and tripod and see what I could find. Lots of light and reflections and interesting compositions - but it's hard to avoid being drawn into including the Skytower. I have photographed it so many times, so I looked for other shots tonight. This is the footbridge across the Viaduct Basin to the Wynyard Quarter. It splits in the middle and raises in two halves whenever a tall masted boat or yacht comes or goes from the marina.
