Salthouse
We set off for Norfolk slightly later than anticipated and arrived east of Cromer and had the tent pitched by 15.45, too late to visit a village fete I had planned on going to, but not too late to explore.
This is Salthouse beach, a part of the world Jim and I love. The kids liked it too, digging for treasure and Carys even paddled although it was colder than she anticipated!
We headed back to Cromer for chippy tea, sat on a wall over looking the pier in the evening sunshine. A lovely start to the weekend.
