Right Away!

Ruth blows the whistle and waves the green flag as the 1655 departs Dolgoch Falls station this afternoon.  Ruth was Assistant Guard, I was Guard, a very special family outing :-)

A few minutes later we passed a double-headed train (extra photo) returning to Tywyn at the end of 'Duncan Day,' a family event with many fun activities for the young (and not so young) based around the connections we have with the Rev'd Awdry's railway stories.  Awdry was a volunteer here in the 1950's.
