Pallid Peony

I've tried several times over the weekend to photograph the peonies but I cannot get a true representation of the very deep pink colour. This will have to do, although any tips would be gratefully received.

Mckenzie is still with me but sadly he'll have to go to nursery tomorrow and the house will seem dull and quiet without his laughter, singing and constant requests for more food. I've never known a child to eat so much!
