WRYNECK

We all met at 6 o'clock this morning for a walk before breakfast. We saw several warblers and then this little bird flew in. I have been to many places where this bird has been seen but I have never been lucky! This wryneck was a first for me so I was very excited.

After a hearty breakfast we set off for the forest where we spotted several different woodpeckers. We had packed lunches and then continued on our way. We arrived back in time for a late evening meal.
