Chipping Steam Fair

After a nice lie in (& bacon butties), we had a ride out to Chipping on the bike to have a look at the annual steam fair.

I was glad I'd decided not to wash my hair before we went (we had a few hours round the chiminea last night so it smelled of bonfire) as there was lots of smoke and smog there. I managed to get a soot smear on my face while we were walking round!

It was a big place, with lots of different things, not just steam engines.
They had a military section; classic cars and motorbikes; tractors; buses and various bits of machinery too.

It wasn't really my cup of tea, and at £8 each to get in, I thought it was pricey for what it was. Still, we've been now so I doubt we will be going again.

Off to wash my hair now ;-)
