I was at Waterhead and started  thinking of all the visitors that would be arriving here for the Bank Holiday weekend. Back home I got on the internet. First checked the weather forecast, then booked a bit of grass on which to pitch a tent for five nights ....... somewhere hopefully quieter than Ambleside. 

The remainder of the day was spent frantically packing, charging camera batteries and doing all other pre holiday essentials.
