Sidepike

A few years ago I did a photo course with Joe Cornish in the English Lake District. At the end of the week I had a few shots which I just could not place in terms of actual location ( pre gps camera days )

Today we walked past Blea Tarn, and on up Lingmore Fell heading to Brown Howe, when my visual memory suddenly triggered that I had walked this bit before. Looking back at the view of Side pike I realized where my lost shot had been taken.

Always a bit amazing when a memory locked deep in your brain is suddenly released by some view or event.
