Goodbye, Minty!

A week ago I thought that I'd missed the bluebells in the woods, but thanks to comments by nell2803 and ANewDay, I realised that in fact they were late coming out this year and hadn't bloomed yet. Silly me.

So, for Minty's final walk before heading south for several months, I took him to the woods and found the sea of bluebells I was expecting last week. What a treat!

Today I kept him on the lead, because last time we came here he rolled in something disgusting - deer poo, probably - and I didn't want him stinking when his mistress arrived.

I am now back in my own flat for two nights and am off to a Strathendrick Singers concert this evening, when they will be joined by a choir visiting from Yorkshire.
