Kangaroos In Mundaring

We drove to Mundaring and stopped at Mundaring Weir Dam, we took a picnic lunch and were joined by quite few Western Grey kangaroos, here is one of them, he was quite a young one and let us get quite close.
The Western Grey is quite a large kangaroo when full grown standing around 1.3m high, they are quite common all over Australia, they live in groups of around 15..there are a couple more on my extra blips ...
More rain is on the way, its much needed...
