A Wee Pie

Have you been to the Stockbridge Market yet? It's on every Sunday between 10am-5pm and Breaking News according to their website it'll be on Thursdays 2.30pm til 7.30pm for all of June, July and August 2012!

One of the must visit stalls (in my opinion) is The Wee Pie Company who make delicious homemade pies. These are not you're regular "scotch pies" they have a great range of Scottish meats (Venison, Rabbit, Lamb, Wild Boar, Haggis, Black pudding, etc) mixed with vegetables and sauces.

If, like me, you enjoy a "couple" drinks after your visit to the market a "Wee Pie" make a perfect hangover snack the next day. I don't know if they'll be at the market on Thursdays but they've always been there on Sundays (although they were sold out one week well before 5pm!).
