Poppies again

Being submersed back into winter, bearing up under the cold temperatures, being suffocated and crushed by the snow or drowned by the rising water levels, the wildlife and the wild flowers are suffering! I was delighted to find these poppies down by the river which had burst back to life! Let's hope the new growth, young birds, young animals etc. survive these unexpected harsh conditions.
I make no apology for my third poppy blip of the week: they have brightened my spirits!
