Temenos

Temenos is a sculpture created by Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond in 2010. Almost 50metres high and 20 metres long it resembles a giant butterfly net and stands by the River Tees near to Riverside Stadium (see the extra photo), home to Middlesbrough FC.
To the West of the sculpture you can see the famous Tees Transporter bridge which has recently been repainted a very smart blue colour.

Let's hope that 'the Boro' can find the back of the net on Monday at Wembley.
