Coldstones Cut Limestone Quarry

This is a working quarry high above Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale. It's not visible from the surrounding area except from the outdoor 'sculpture' that was built next to it in 2010.
It is vast and the view is impressive. You can get an idea of its size from the orange digger to the right.
Fortunately the weather was much warmer and pleasant than when we visited back in March.
