Yes, you've guessed. We are in Wales, Well, Border country to be precise, staying in a pub in Glasbury ready for the Hay Book Festival which begin officially  tomorrow.
 
This is a view of the Wye and the Welsh sign ( see extra photo) is on the bridge.  No, its not a deterrent to suicide jumpers but a warning to young people that the river is far too shallow for jumping. It is a very popular spot for canoeists. 
 
After Scotland I find the weather hot and humid and already regret the warm clothes I have packed.
 
Meanwhile as soon as folk realise where we are from they are very keen to 
hear our views on the Scottish political situation.
 
   
They do not understand why Scotland wants to separate itself from England.....
