Sundown at Seadown

Another trip into Timaru this afternoon to grab a few bits and bobs, as well as another visit to the the inlaws, and boy was the day one out of the box.

On the way home we decided to return home via the backroad behind Timaru airport at Seadown. As we passed the runway, I pulled up to grab this shot of a centre pivot irrigator reaching its way towards the distant hills.

It's cold and clear out there already, touching 1ºC at 7pm, so I think I might be capturing a few star scenes later tonight if it stays cloudless.
