Bad weather day today - so scouting around and planning future assaults. Got as far as the nature trail at the Beinn Eighe visitor centre.

... oh, I am told it was a stone pinecone. We were on the 'pinecone trail'. A gruelling meandering gravel path that almost (but not quite) got you out of sight of the car park.
