Lighting the beacon

It was a metal, gas-powered thing, made in barnsley apparently.
Not an impressive item, but it was nice to see the community out and about together. Slightly spoilt for me by people singing the national anthem.
I went to cakefest, this is the half-termly gathering of my teaching friends in a local patissierie. I had a lemon cheese cake, but it wasnt very lemony,and i couldnt finish it!
