New Day - New Flower

Autumn is just the best season of all - we see such amazing sights in the bush, and this is one of them.  It's a hakea - an explosion of beauty!  (Note to Hobbs - I promise I didn't use the extrusion filter in Photoshop).

We couldn't resist going to the Park again today.  Well, we call it a Park, but it's really virgin bush (almost), and so close to us, we can walk there.  But the parts we frequent are usually well away from the madding crowd, and so worth the short drive up to the ridge.
