Getting Ready for the Bank Holiday weekend!
Yes! I've removed the self portrait that's been up since half past midnight last night. I know how it disturbed and upset so many and fearing Blip HQ removing it on the grounds of profound ugliness, I've done it for them! It's now banished to that big virtual recycle bin in the sky....
I did enjoy reading the comments, which remain, of course, as this Bournemouth Beach blip replaces the image, but not the comments left so far. Thanks also for the couple of Hearts that were cast on the SP.
Bournemouth got a bit warmer and less breezy as the afternoon wore on, becoming actually quite pleasant, later on allowing shorts and shirtsleeves.
From tomorrow evening, and until 6th June, is Salisbury's annual International Arts Festival and naturally I want to get to snap as many of the free public events as possible, so today's freedom in the sun by the sea, was particularly welcome
Not many on the beach but I did like the massive bulldozing tractors tyre tracks that have shaped the sand, ready for the new season and for the Bank Holiday weekend. The Pier is at the top and I quite liked the Antony Gormley type of figures in this particular shot.
Yes, it is another mono, after yesterday's, but aside of that, is quite different.
Big thanks for everything on yesterday's Mono Mottisfont Blip. Thanks also for continued support for the Cathedral in the sunlight spotlight, it's STILL at no 1 in the Populars! Cheers
