17C with lots of sunny sunshine and some thin cloud. Light breeze.

Maeve the deerhound was out in the back garden this morning. I watered some pots.

Maeve and I went for our walk after lunch. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The fields and the two small hawthorn trees were very green in the sunshine. I am enjoying taking this same shot as the seasons change and the crops develop.

We came back along the cycle path and round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home.

Later I mowed the front lawn. Maeve was out in the back garden again, in a shady spot.
