Shopping
A day wandering around Edinburgh shopping for odds and ends and birthday presents. Eight miles of wandering. My poor feet are protesting loudly about it. But missions accomplished, although my route and timings didn't coincide with the Gang Hut tea get together, which was a shame but couldn't be helped. There was a lot to do and a school pickup deadline to be met. There could be no deviation. The route had been designed for both efficient shop coverage and to leave me carrying heavy things (beer) for the minimum distance. A bike hire scheme is what Edinburgh needs. Would have saved a lot of time and soreness.
Then too long spent wrestling with an airport express, extending the network into the wee dingy office (also covers the brew shed, which is nice). Should have read the instructions. When it did come to this, that a man needs to read instructions? I suppose around the same time that you find yourself writing PIN numbers on your hand because you can't remember them. Saves embarrassment in the shops.
