Golden Elm

I had to go to Hamilton today to get my car serviced,  so killed time by going to The Base which is a very large shopping park and shopping mall nearby the car dealership.
Three hours and two cups of coffee later , I was totally over looking at shops and was very relieved when the car place rang to say my car was ready.
I was just home in time to see the last shards of sunlight on the Golden Elm in the back garden. The Autumn colours are looking beautiful at the moment.... a prelude to the gloom of winter.
