Fungi Galore

In Blenheim there is an organization called the "University of the Third Age". A number of its members form the "Photography Group". Today 13 of us went on a field trip to Pine Valley, 45 Kms from Blenheim. Our goal was to find and photograph fungi along the tracks through the bush alongside the beautiful mountain river. It is a magical place and we found loads of different fungi of all shapes, sizes and colours. We all had fun, enjoyed picnic lunches and captured lovely images of fungi. My image shows a group of Mycena species.
