Dewy Dandelions
The morning was glorious and at 8oclock I wandered down to the lake edge with my camera and within a short time had a number of blips in the bag. The lake was so still, the mist was rising, a fishing boat was heading into the distance, the light was shining through the golden leaves and the swans were preening themselves.
But as I walked home I spotted this little dandelion covered in dew and backlit by the early sun, down on my knee and it was like fairy land.
Blip done and dusted! Lucky I got it then as the wind got up, the clouds appeared and the day turned quite raw. Spent time organising images for the Laurie Thomas NZ Landscape Salon which closes this weekend.
Looks much better LARGE
