Sweet Wills

I love these and their close relatives carnations. The petals have a wonderfully old fashioned look - just like a tudor painting or embroidery.

I managed to get quite a bit of time in the garden today - it really began to feel as though life was returning to normal after the upheaval of the last few weeks
