Enjoying the Evening Sun....

..... at Holkham Hall Deer Park.

Wonderful end to a wonderful day! We spent much of it enjoying the company of old friends, catching up over a fabulous lunch out and then being given a tour of the local sights, so a really lovely day. 

On the way back to our B & B, we stopped to explore this deer park. There was hardly anyone there and the light was beautiful. This herd of deer had settled down for the evening, enjoying the last of the sun but they kept a sharp eye on me, although I didn't get too close, as I didn't want to disturb them.

Very many thanks for all the comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's Flocking! blip and the great comments on the cuckoo 'extra' - I'm pleased to hear that I am not the only one who has never seen a cuckoo before! :)
