Jubilee
The day started cloudy but by lunchtime the sun had appeared and it was a stunning afternoon of cloudless sky with temperatures reaching 20 degrees. I spent the morning making chutney and bread. After lunch, and to allow the work on patio to commence without me getting in the way, I went to an art exhibition in Rowlands Castle. Its an idylic village set around a large central green. I had a wander around after visiting the exhibition and admired the gardens and scenery. I came across this mosaic, made for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. I love the details - the cakes, and sandwiches, bunting and flowers, the pack of cards, the tea pouring from the pot.....there is so much to see.
