Souter Lighthouse

A venture south of the Tyne this afternoon. You can see the lighthouse from Tynemouth, but amazingly I have never visited it ( nor Marsden Rock...). There are 72 steps to the top - but it's worth it for an amazing view

Went by car today via the tunnel, but prospected a route on bikes for a future trip, via the passenger ferry to South Shields.

I'm planning the "after" shot of the station for tomorrow morning's market.
