Fresh as a daisy

After all that rain yesterday, this morning the plants were still wet. I spotted these daisies as I was driving past to go to the supermarket to get food for the weekend.

Gavin leaves today for Sydney, after having been in Stockholm earlier this week. However he has cancelled his next trip to Sydney at the beginning of June, because he has to be in Los Angeles the day after his expected return from that trip, so that's a relief. I think he is a good candidate for a study on the effects of jet lag! Now you know why the family are able to fly using air miles, he sure racks them up.

I had book club last night, which usually involves drinks and snacks, but our host spoilt us by giving us a chocolate fondue with strawberries, sliced banana and marshmallows for pudding - it was yummy!
