Bank job

Today we both had dentist appointments so this meant a trip into Manchester, which we always enjoy!

Hub got a clean bill of health, unlike me, who has a problem underneath a crown, so another visit needs to be arranged, but not until after our Italy trip.

We then went on to Jamies restaurant, which used to be the Midland Banks' central branch, on King Street for lunch. We have been several times, and continue to be impressed by both their food and their staff. I had seabass and hub had their special burger, both divine.

Before we left, we visited the vaults downstairs, ( the loos!) the largest cubicles you could ever wish for, with personal hand washing and drying within each :-)

As we came out I said to hub that I wanted to take a couple of shot of the vaults lobby area to demonstrate their size. Hub wandered off towards the bottom of the area and beckoned me......he had discovered a room which is for private hire, called "the vault" it had the original steel door, with all its elaborate locks and the interior prison like door! We pushed it open and looked inside and this is what we found!!
