In Blanchdown Wood
A small reservoir in Blanchdown Wood developed to provide power to the nearby Devon Great Consuls arsenic mine which once employed over 1000 people. More on my blog. The water is almost certainly contaminated with various minerals but it does make for a pretty picture particularly with the fresh green leaves that are now coming out.
